The questions we hear most. If yours is not here, message the coach.
No. Most members are not. The assessment is built to meet you where your body actually is. If you can walk in the door, we can run it.
Membership runs $300 to $500 per month depending on the tier. The Standard plan, $400 per month, is what most members are on. There is no sign-up fee. There is no class card. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
A gym sells you access. We sell you a coached program. Every session in this room has eyes on it. The program is written for your body, not for a class of twenty people. If you want a treadmill and a key card, this is not the right place.
Yes. Memberships are month to month. No annual contract, no early cancellation fee. We do ask for thirty days of notice so we can close out your block cleanly.
One head coach. Lifelong athlete, military veteran, surfer, climber, martial artist. The full background is on the About page.
Most of our members do. The assessment captures it. The program is written around it. If you are working with a physical therapist or a surgeon, we will coordinate with them. We do not push through pain we do not understand.
No. Members range from early 30s to early 60s. The work is the same. The progression is the difference. Strength training is one of the best things you can do for your body in your 40s, 50s, and 60s.
No. We have started members with twenty years off the floor. The first month is honest work at a level your body can hold. The progression is built so you do not blow up in week three.
Yes. Surf, jiu-jitsu, climbing, masters powerlifting, ultras, triathlon, hiking. The Sport Performance and Outdoor Capacity tracks are built for this. We program around your competitive calendar, not against it.
Not right now. Apex Athlete is a private in-person club. The whole point is the room and the coaching. If you need remote programming, we will point you to coaches we trust.
Show up in training clothes. Forty minutes of assessment work: movement, strength, conditioning, joint history. Twenty minutes sitting down with the coach. Goals conversation, track recommendation, the program, the cost. Yes or no, no pressure.
